My name is Diddai the purple wizard. I am a most powerful wizard. Greetings to those in the land of Shrewsbury.
Having walked the land for a thousand years I have decided to settle and build my tower of power on a peaceful hill set next to a river valley.
I like to build in a very natural style, in keeping with the surrounding woods and valleys. The first task was to build a sturdy tower from which I can strike out and explore.
The view from the top gives you a good idea of what's about and I have decided to map the surroundings at scale 3 i.e. 3 upgrades to map size so that one pixel is 3x3.
Taking a tour round the compass. North an intriguing plateau surrounded by some mountains. To the North East a swamp.
To the East a large birch wood. Some land for farming. I am planning to fence in large areas and raise herds.
To the South oak and birch woods and at the head of the lake a door to my original mining expedition. I stumbled upon an abandoned mine in an underground fissure. There is still much work to do cleaning out the tunnels of bad creatures of the night. I need to raise my power levels and go armed to the teeth !
Finally in the West the river runs through a canyon. I have a small boat and one day will take a day trip as it would be the fastest way to map out the countryside.
